My lawyer spoke with DA. Even the DA changed what they initially agreed too, because of the amount of speed, but I still think it was fair being my first offense. It could have been much worse. I think having an attorney represent me helped but now that I know you can negotiate, that it's up to the individual to decide how to best proceed. Me personally will use sometime that knows the in and outs of laws better than I.
